Complaints, Appeals & Compliance Statement

Complaints and Appeals

Authors, reviewers, and other concerned parties may submit complaints or appeals relating to editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or other journal procedures.

Complaints and appeals should be submitted to:

Email:editor@jdss.org.pk

JDSS will review complaints and appeals fairly, confidentially, and within a reasonable period. Where appropriate, the journal may consider recognized publication-ethics guidance, including relevant COPE procedures.

An appeal should provide clear reasons for requesting reconsideration and, where applicable, include supporting information or evidence. An appeal does not guarantee that the original editorial decision will be changed.

Compliance with Publishing Standards

JDSS is committed to responsible and transparent scholarly publishing and seeks to follow internationally recognized principles of publication ethics and editorial best practice.

The journal's policies are informed by relevant guidance and standards, including:

  • Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) principles and guidance;
  • DOAJ Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing; and
  • Widely recognized publication and research-integrity practices used in the scholarly publishing community.
